Winter has been pretty quiet for ARM, but weather conditions remained rather favorable. The ARM slalom took place under good conditions, but we have to regret the lack of participation. Benefits have been passed on to SAPAUDIA.
Many thanks to ESF, Tourism Office and our participants.
ARM lost one of his founders, Mr. René GROUSSARD, who set up the basics and status of our association, 50 years ago. ARM members and myself personally expressed condolences and sympathy to his wife and family.
Summer is approaching with a heavy program. Main activity will be the celebration of 50 years of ARM on Sunday noon 9 August at Etienne’s, Restaurant Le Pleney. We invite Morzine locals to participate. I am asking all our members and friends to come in large numbers. You will reach the restaurant via the Pleney Telecabine. Instructions will be provided at a later date.
Our outgoing mayor, Jean-Francois Berger has been re-elected after first round. Congratulations to him and his team from ARM. But, as we are part of the financing contributors to the village, we would appreciate being informed of decisions to be taken and provide our feedback. We’ll talk about it again during the next General Assembly on August 3rd.
In the meantine, waiting for the summer, I would like to pass my sincere thanks to all my team and our loyal members, as well as all Morzine locals who are always present to help.
See you soon.
Jean Marie
